Shell Sports Management connects collegiate athletes in underrepresented sports with local businesses — building personal brands and authentic, meaningful partnerships. We put athletes first, always.
Service · Heart · Empower · Lead · Legacy
We pair Maryland athletes with brands that match their personality, values, and story — creating authentic connections that benefit athletes, businesses, and the College Park community.
Shell Sports partnered with KoaSports to host an elite youth baseball clinic. Maryland Terrapins athletes led drills, signed autographs, and connected with the next generation of players — demonstrating how NIL partnerships can create authentic community impact.
Real content from our athletes and partners — authentic NIL campaigns that connect brands with audiences in meaningful ways.
Whether you're an elite athlete ready to monetize your name, or a local business looking to connect authentically with top Maryland talent — we want to hear from you.
We build real relationships. Every inquiry gets a personal response within 48 hours.
Shell Sports Management is built on relationships. We focus on supporting collegiate athletes in overlooked and underrepresented sports — working within the University of Maryland community to create meaningful opportunities for athletes in lacrosse, soccer, baseball, and similar sports that often don't receive equal NIL attention.
Our mission is simple: put athletes first. We want the athletes we work with to feel supported and valued as people, not just as statistics or follower counts. Everything we do centers around building genuine connections between athletes and local businesses.
We imagine an environment where collegiate athletes have someone in their corner — not just for deals but for guidance, partnership, and long-term growth. We want every athlete, regardless of the attention their sport receives, to feel represented, respected, and rewarded.
Before starting Shell Sports Management, Tyler and Jake gained experience working at Slice Sports Management, an NIL agency representing mid-major Division I athletes. There they learned the day-to-day operations of athlete representation — conducting cold outreach, building athlete relationships, working through contract details, and learning how to pitch NIL opportunities in ways that made sense for both athletes and businesses. This background taught them the importance of clear communication, professionalism, and trust.
